AMAZE is the only experience in Amsterdam that feels like the inside of a festival from the first room to the last. The experience was created by ID&T, the pioneers behind world-famous electronic music events including Awakenings, Sensation, Milkshake, Defqon.1.
About them
ID&T started in 1992 with a group of electronic dance music devotees who wanted a different kind of experience and decided to build it themselves. What followed was three decades of ground-breaking concepts that changed how the world dances. They co-founded Tomorrowland and were the first to bring dance music to the masses.
ID&T have given us iconic electronic music events like: Defqon.1, Mysteryland, Awakenings, Thunderdome, Qlimax, Milkshake, Decibel Outdoor and Amsterdam Open Air. Every year, approximately 1.5 million visitors travel from across the world to attend their festivals.
AMAZE is what three decades of festival experience looks like when you bring it indoors. It opened in 2021 at Elementenstraat in Amsterdam’s Westhaven. It’s a walk-through experience with eight rooms: Origin, Senses, Play, Reflection, Line-Up, Club AMAZE, La La Land and Release. Visitors can in some rooms control the lights and music and experience how it is to build a show.
Eight rooms of light, music and festival culture in a one hour. AMAZE takes you from the origin of sound through a laser show, a mirror maze and other surprising rooms. This is the only experience in Amsterdam built entirely around electronic music and the closest thing to a festival the city has indoors.
