The Rock Bar, accessible through the store, has a different energy, high stools, a full bar, exposed brick walls and industrial details. Worth a look even if you’re staying for lunch in the main restaurant!
We ordered the legendary smashed burger and the chicken burger with fries. We were surprised of how good the burgers are! The bun is really soft, the onions were properly caramelized and the fries were crunchy and salted right. The menu also offers a vegetarian burger option!
The vibe of the restaurant is cosy, the tall windows make the room bright even on a grey Amsterdam afternoon. Every wall is covered in guitars, stage costumes and album covers.
The price-quality is balanced. We had a great lunch for €27.50 per person. In Amsterdam is very normal to pay around €25 per person for a drink and a main dish and here you even get dessert.
The location is very convenient. You can walk from and to the Rijksmuseum and Leidseplein in about 5 minutes. The metro stop Vijzelgracht and tram stop Leidseplein are also close by.

The Bols Cocktail 30 or 60 minutes workshop combines multimedia exhibits, interactive installations and a workshop where you learn the art of mixology. You will make two different cocktails and afterwards you can also another freshly prepared cocktail in the mirror bar.
